Inner child — Poem, Inspiration & Journal prompts.

Poem
My inner child is my baby girl
I’m responsible for her saftey
I’m here to make her feel loved
I’m here to mother her.
She’s part of me and would always be.
I won’t push her away
I won’t neglect her.
But bring her closer to me.
Making her feel safe & loved
Hug her, Kiss her.
Dance with her.
Play with her.
Make her happy.
Remind her that everything is okay.
Remind her that she’s safe with me, always.
And always.
Inspiration
How you treat your innerchild is exactly how you treat yourself.
You are your innerchild. Your innerchild is part of you. She wants to feel safe, loved and accepted. She wants to be heard & feel seen.
Your inner child is not the problem. Your innerchild doesn’t need fixing. Neglecting her is the problem. Avoiding her is the problem. Not paying attention to her is the real problem.
Your innerchild loves you, she speaks to you through your fears, triggers and pain. She needs your love, care and attention. When you don’t give her the unconditional love she deserves, she begins to look outside of you to get that love by force then leading to unhealthy patterns.
Your innerchild is calling you to come back home to yourself, accept all that your are and fill your own cup.
Will you listen to her??
